For the last 7 years I have roamed the planet , Africa , Asia , Europe , Australia the Americas , walking , talking , hitch-hiking , but most of all cycling.16 000 cycled km's and 3 continents later... ""Global Wheeling"" is a dream I conjured in 2005 whilst cycling across the Nullarbor Plain in the Outback desert of Australia... A dream now coming to fruition , to cycle unsupported from London England , to the U.S.A , 40 countries through Europe , Africa , South ,Central and North America... A two year pilgrimage for mother earth. A journey to emphasise the importance of human energy and highlite our ever increasing over reliance on fossil fuels and motorised transport..."Global Wheeling"" a soon to be registered South African NPO/NGO will be generating as much funding as possible over the next 9 months prior to depature( Aug 2010 ) and during the two year ride ,to assist in bike empowerment in disadvantaged areas here in Africa and conservation initiatives in both Africa and South America to help offset this un-natural disaster we commonly know as global warming...
